Showing gratitude and being nice to your clients and business partners will increase your own well-being and it will also boost or bring back your enthusiasm and energy you put back into your own business.
It will also boost your client retention. When your client feels appreciated he is more likely to stay. Small acts of kindness go a long way (handwritten note in shipped packages, "Just Because" discount codes, thank you notes, fun gifts, etc.)
This works also for your staff. Be nice to them and empower them (employee of the month, team appreciation systems, etc.). You´ ll soon find your staff will be more engaged and will go out of their way to make your business more successful.
Long story short: Crank up the gratitude and be open to others around you. Gratitude is your secret ingredient.
