"A life lived purpose-driven is a life well lived" - Elvis Eckardt
Most of us think that in order to be happy we have to travel to places, do different things, basically accumulate and achieve.
To me, happiness is understanding who we really are and bringing this into the formula.
Imagine these 2 scenarios:
- You start a new job and your main goal is to get something out of it (make money to go travelling)
or
- You start a new job knowing this job is adding value to your life in the present and you want to contribute and share your skillset to make sure you and your employer will win.
To me, happiness is to contribute and grow, not to accumulate and achieve.
