I am not sure how you feel about it but I am really tired of hearing people going on about how they were "meant" for something, and about how something was "meant" to be for them.
People also tend to say "But that's not what I meant at all!" No, of course not, Karen. But from a purely semantic standpoint, it's actually pretty much what you're getting at even if it is unintentionally. Sit down.
Look. If something is predestined for anything beyond the scope of our human will and control, it is, by definition, not subject to our human influence.
