Take advice and give it!
I recently started an external consulting role for a company which is changing global communications from space.
Even though I had experience recruiting into this sector before, working directly for a company in the space is something new for me.
Having people to sit down with you and patiently explain a process you didn't understand before is very reassuring.
Being able to share my knowledge with the stakeholders on subjects they don't understand is where my added value lies.
When they share their knowledge with you, it shows you the importance of connection.
Sharing information you have and being open to receive new one builds up community.
A lot of things are unknown to me but I find it extremely comforting that I am not alone.
